Nordic Gun Craftsmanship

A culture developes best when certain proven aspects from other cultures are applied without prejudice in a new environment according to its own requirements and circumstances.
Finnish gunmaking has developed to its current form mostly through practical needs or hunters and sports shooters. This is the reason why a weapon has mainly been held as a tool of its kind, which is the most important attitude when it comes to evaluating a firearm. For me personally, also the aesthetics of a firearm matters a lot. It is formed through carefully picked materials, thoroughly studied and appropriate design, as well as the technical execution of every single detail. For this I have acquired knowledge and skill in Central Europe by studying at Ferlach school of gunsmithing in Austria, graduating as a gunsmith from Ferlach in the year 1997 and working from 1998 to 2001 as a gunsmith at Hartmann & Weiss workshop in Hambourg which manufactures English-style luxury rifles and firearms for big game hunting.
At my own company in Finland I always strive for optimal technical quality in gun repairs and rifle manufacturing combined with seamless design and refinement which has been thoroughly studied and put to practice.
